Johnson Outboard Parts 1999 2hp Johnson Outboard- It Is Stuck: Wont Pull, And When Pull Starter Removed It Is Still Stuck-Whats Wrong

1999 2hp johnson outboard- It is stuck: wont pull, and when pull starter removed it is still stuck-Whats wrong - johnson outboard parts

I have a 1999 2 HP Johnson outboard, who has been sitting for about a year. It is totally blocked, do not move when I can drive the boat (not even pull the rope drag) to. If I initiate, circulars, which is expected to start running, it is completely blocked. What is the problem? Is it completely shocked abducted dead, or what? What can I do or nothing to solve this problem? Thank you!

I would say that rings are seized in the cylinder wall. The first thing you should try removing the spark plug and the engine, the spark plug hole is present, and you spray a lot of WD-40 into the hole. Fixation for a few days and try to return. Another thing to consider is the lower unit. I assume the engine is operated continuously (no neutral or vice versa). Make sure that no water in the lower unit, the impact before might cause.

Each time a boat is stored must be an oil mist into the carburetor of the internal components (from marine suppliers and instructions to protect their use have sprayed). The oil will be at the bottom of the device must also be checked for water before storage. I have seen many houses have small elite unit of water and then get a freeze during storage.

Your assumption that using correct. From engine of your description, I think the engine runs good if before. Stores a year, that's the case, then you have is a rusty piston cylinder wall or covered and the only way to know with certainty, an engine tear down. The good news is that these engines are very easy to handle and very inexpensive for repair work.
Now you can try the engine through a high quality penetrating oil around the spark plug hole on the engine on the front version and let the oil work for several hours, or 40 day.WD evaporates very good moving water, but too fast for good penetration.
After the oil has time to work, then start trying the flywheel (loop portion) do not move easily back and I suggest you use a motor for tool. After flywheel is able to move freely, you can try it.You remember chance. Now to a 50-50, if you have the engine all the parts are severely damaged, as a start - Life / Reliability of the system was severely ReduCED.
I am 35 years as a Master Marine Tec, Mercury / OMC / Volvo / honda.Good Chance
