I've tried to plan a trip for us for the holidays. He was wanting to go to casinos and can not really afford to Vegas. Do you think that Palm Springs is a good choice? We planned to stay at Casino Morongo. Are there any fun things to do in order .. next to the tram from the air? Or is there a proposal for another city near the plane to Los Angeles?

I was in Palm Springs, Valentine, sunny, lots of good restaurants, if you're bored, you can drive in the desert or the mountains. Good choice.
Palm Springs, Morongo is not cheap and not romantic.
Even with the cost of gas, which could lead to Las Vegas and stay and eat less of Palm Springs. You have the Ethel M Chocolate Factory () tour and free samples of the cranberry plant tour (free), a beautiful walk through the Red Rock Canyon (cheap), Hoover Dam Tour (cheap), and can visit New York, New York, Paris , Wynn, and all the other nice hotels and shop windows and see the show as the volcano and the sinking of the ship (for free). Like Circus Circus Circus Interior (for free), and Caesars Palace show source (free), and the parade through the cracks of Rio's fantastic and also free.
Or try searching the Internet for Bed & Breakfasts in the area of Los Angeles. You can stay on the beach or in the Memorandum of Understandingntaine, or in the city. You can even drive to the Hollywood sign!
